The new much anticipated release or launch of WordPress 3.0 “Thelonius” has arrived.
Here are a few of our favorite new features in WordPress 3.0:
1. You can run multiple blogs from one WordPress install. WordPress Mu is part of the core WordPress code now. This new feature is called Multisite now
2. Customizable menus are now part of the core, instead of being dependent on themes
3. New default theme – Twenty Ten as Kubrick has been retired.
4. Custom background color is choose-able with a visual color picker
